This pharma business based in central Cambridge has grown to a size where they now need to recruit a number two to the Head of Finance. This will be a broad role in a fascinating business with huge potential.

Growing SME based in Cambridge. They offer flexible and hybrid working.

This is a newly created opportunity in an exciting SME that is currently in its R&D phase with significant backing. They have grown steadily over the last few years and are now at a stage where they are looking to grow their finance departments to improve the reporting and the controls.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring strong controls are implemented across the business
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Year End reporting
  • Monthly Management reporting and analysis.
  • Calculation of R&D tax credits
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with experience of working in an SME environment. You will enjoy working with non Finance and support an organisations growth.

£60,000 to £70,000 plus benefits
