As the Electrical Estimator, you will play a vital role in managing the Estimating Department, ensuring successful project tendering, timely delivery, and adherence to budget constraints.

Your expertise will be instrumental in securing new tenders and driving exciting projects for the company.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the Estimating Department efficiently.

Collaborate closely with Contracts Managers and the Procurement Team to streamline tendering processes and project delivery.

Utilise AutoCAD and Revit to present design plans to the project team.

Conduct Tender Enquiry activities, considering both commercial and technical aspects while adhering to non-collusive policies.

Assess and document project risks via the risk register.

Provide technical guidance, advice, and bid support, including tender programmes and methodologies.

Conduct site visits as necessary to understand tender requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry networks and clients.

Assist in the development of O&M Manuals.

Qualifications: Candidates should have a background in electrical work, ideally as a Qualified Electrician or holding an Electrical Engineering Degree.

Skills, Competencies, and Other Qualities: Proven experience with Trimble estimating and costing systems.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure competitive prices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High level of competency in MS Office packages.

Excellent verbal, written, and numerical skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a demanding environment.

Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.

A team player with a positive "can-do" attitude.
