Optimize are partnering with an industry leading, highly experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineering organisation, whose strive for perfection contributes to the company’s continued prestigiousness and success. We are seeking a talented and diligent Electrical Estimator, who exemplifies positivity, pride, and motivation while performing this role.
- Electrical background, ideally a Qualified Electrician or holding an Electrical Engineering Degree**.**
- 2+ years post qualification experience
- Knowledge and experience with Trimble estimating & costing systems.
- Multi-tasking and composure in a demanding environment.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure competitive prices.
- Team player with a positive, who is willing to go the ‘extra mile’.
- Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills.
- Competency in the use of MS Office packages.

**Responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Working closely with Senior management to deliver accurate estimating.
- Engaging with Contracts Managers and the Procurement Team to ensure projects are tendered effectively, delivered on time, and within budget.
- Present design plans to the project team using AutoCAD and Revit
- Aid in the development of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
- Address tender enquiries including commercial/technical aspects while always maintaining non-collusive policy.
- Provide technical guidance, advice and bid support including involvement with tender programmes and methodologies.
- Acknowledge the risks present on each individual project and record/manage via the risk register.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with industry networksand clients.
