You will join a leading global Engineering organisation seeking a visionary leader to define and own the global commercial strategy for industrial IoT solutions.

Your Mission:

  • Strategic Leadership - Define and own the global commercial strategy for industrial IoT, managing the entire commercialisation process from product needs and customer value to product launch and post-implementation reviews.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with their Uptime Product Owner to deliver innovative features to customers, ensuring our products meet and exceed expectations.
  • Implementation Support - Assist in implementing IIoT service agreements within our standard product offerings, enhancing the value we provide to our customers.
  • Product Lifecycle Management - Support Product Units in executing strategies for New Build (NB) projects, focusing on product differentiation and lifecycle management.
  • Opportunity Management - Own the opportunities funnel, supporting regional sales teams with campaigns, proposals, customer interactions, and sales agreements.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions - Collaborate with product managers to roll out data-driven solutions, prioritising customer needs and economic value.
  • Project Leadership - Lead strategic and tactical development projects for data-driven solutions, working closely with global regions on business development and commercial initiatives.
  • Target Achievement - Ensure the annual data-driven targets and sales budget are met, driving the success of our solutions in the market.
  • Innovation - Develop and test new value-based selling methodologies, transferring successful methods to the global organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the sales process and pipeline across global regions.
  • Oversee internal sales and value-selling training processes.
  • Analyse market dynamics and competitive landscape to optimise profitability.
  • Engage with key customers and stakeholders to build relationships, ensure customer value, and provide after-sale support.
  • Gather and analyse Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to align product roadmap priorities with customer expectations.
  • Ensure successful product launches, adjusting plans as needed to meet financial projections.
  • Develop and manage commercial models to optimise pricing, adoption, and profitability.
  • Implement product localisation strategies and optimise local go-to-market channels.
  • Contribute to and approve product-specific marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with other product managers and directors to maintain a balanced DDA solutions portfolio.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven experience in commercial leadership roles, with a focus on IIoT or technology-related businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of IoT technologies, applications, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional business development and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and sales strategies.
  • Leadership abilities to guide and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in IoT or technology sales and partnerships is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong commercial background and marketing understanding.
  • Team player with a proven ability to execute key metrics and lead within matrix organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in executive presentations.
  • Desirable experience in industrial equipment development, design, manufacturing, or operations.
  • Familiarity with competing technologies and customer alternatives.
  • Ability to transform ambiguous ideas and market feedback into coherent, actionable strategies.
