The role:
This is an extremely interesting and varied senior-level position within the organisation. As the Business Development Manager you will play a crucial role in strategically identifying and developing business opportunities within NHS and private hospitals throughout the north of the UK. The sales process is very much "solution focused", using your consultative sales skills to uncover your customers' challenges and identify the best solutions you can offer. Your responsibilities will include developing relationships with C-suite level individuals (e.g. trust FD's, CEO's etc.) and liaising with internal contacts in sales, marketing and project management teams.

They are at the forefront of the market, invest heavily in R+D and consistently win industry awards for product innovation. Additionally, they have an exciting pipeline of new products to launch in the next 12 months. Providing full product training, a structured induction and ongoing development. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to break into the sector to get a market leading, recognised name on their CV.

The Culture: This division of the business is headed up by a motivated and ambitious manager who is keen to develop the commercial strategy into a more concept and solution focused approach to meet the ever-changing market and needs of clinicians. You will work in a very supportive and collaborative atmosphere with interaction across various departments including field sales, technical specialists, marketing and customer services.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

· Excellent customer handling skills

· Strategic new business sales experience within the healthcare industry (NHS and private hospitals)

· Experience of handling relationships at all levels including end user to C-suite

· Eager for an opportunity to break into medical sales

Package:

Extremely attractive basic salary and lucrative OTE plus additional over-performance bonuses

Pension, Healthcare, 27 days annual leave (pro-rata), and additional benefits.

Region

The Business Development Manger will focus on business prospects in the north of the UK including: Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire, Leeds, Sheffield, York.
