IGA is working with a global software business that is seeking a Software Engineer with cloud services experience to join their team on a contracting basis.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain reliable, secure, and performant cloud services.
  • Automate testing processes and advocate for agile methodologies.
  • Apply cloud design patterns throughout the development lifecycle.


Essential Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in C# and AWS/GCP.
  • Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in REST API development and Agile practices.
  • Proficient in GIT or equivalent version control.


Desirable Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud services.
  • Expertise in databases like Postgres and Dynamo.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with containerised workloads and CAD applications.


The work will run for 12 months in the first instance, though extensions are likely.


In terms of location, this is a fully remote opportunity, though you are welcome to work in their Sheffield office if you wish.


The work is paid on a day-rate basis with a rate in the region of £400 per day, inside IR35.
