Position: MRP Controller

Location: Bedfordshire

Salary: Up to £43,000 + Bonus

Experience: We are seeking an experienced MRP Controller to join our team and lead the coordination of all planning activities necessary to deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing planning or supply chain management, with expertise in ERP systems, particularly SAP, and will possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

What you will be doing:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced MRP Controller to support a multi-disciplined team in the delivery of production contracts containing both development and production elements. You will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of all planning related activities to deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) to time, cost and quality.

As a key member of the planning and control team, the individual in this position maintains the MPS by aligning it with customer demand, materials, capacity, and inventory targets. They manage and schedule work within the MRP system, ensuring accurate delivery forecasts and efficient material inventories while minimising waste and costs. Collaboration with the Supply Planner and Logistic Services is essential to resolve supply chain constraints, maintain MRP accuracy, and support non-conformance management. The role also involves ensuring adherence to manufacturing strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs).


What we need from you:

  • Experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain management or a related position
  • Experience in the use of ERP essential
  • Experience of SAP beneficial
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
