They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Risk Analyst to join their Governance, Risk and Compliance Team. This role is a key member of the team, with a focus on the 2nd line prudential risk areas, which include Credit Risk, Treasury and Funding Risk.
Duties of the Risk Analyst will include:
- Board level reports for the 2nd line oversight of the Risk Plan with a specialism of Prudential and Credit areas which includes:
- & Prudential Policies
- Risk Management Framework
- Plan and Resolution Pack
- initiative and lending changes
Undertake or coordinate 2nd line lending asset quality reviews
- and challenge of the Risk Appetite
- on all limits in 1st line ownership to ensure in line with Sourcebook, postures are set and present annually alongside the Risk Management Framework
- and Delivering against the Risk team’s Annual Plan this will be part of the Integrated Assurance structure.
- the wider risk team in delivery of the Risk plan as and when required.
- all Risk Events and horizon risks are understood and monitored for wider impact by their owners.
The successful individual will possess:
- and knowledge of Risk within retail banking.
- and skills within excel/data modelling.
- with Prudential risk would be highly desirable.
Our client offers a very hybrid approach to the working environment, with one or two days per month based at their head office, and the rest working remotely. For the training/induction period, they would request more office presence.
