This is a boutique FinTech with a relaxed family atmosphere, a highly collaborative working environment and a demonstrable track record for on-boarding and training for their consultancy team.

A business critical and highly client facing role, as a Technical Consultant, you will be part of the team required to lead aspects of both product development and implementation projects, including; the build and setup of supporting product tools and deliverable components on client projects, configuration of the reporting layer on client projects, working with stakeholders during software release preparation, and subsequent unit and acceptance testing.

You will help with:

  • Implementing software & solutions - testing/configuration/migration products.
  • Identifying client requirements: requirements gathering and creating specifications.
  • Training internal and external clients.
  • Documentation.

What they are looking for:

  • Essential - Degree or MSc in Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics (2:1 or above).
  • Any experience Technical Consultancy, Software Engineering or Data Analytics highly advantageous.
  • Basic MS SQL, Data/Excel skills required.
  • An aptitude for learning and understanding IT software, systems, product configuration, implementations and highly technical solutions.
  • A desire to deliver training to internal & external parties.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, listening & client liaison skills.
  • Strong client facing ability.
  • The ability to analyse complex technical problems and design logical solutions.
  • Any banking or financial back office, regulatory, accountancy or reporting knowledge is beneficial but not essential, and training will be given.
