Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. As a Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer at MetaWin, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in Terraform, CircleCI, AWS, and DDoS prevention will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of our systems.


Responsibilities:


  • Infrastructure as Code: Design, build, and manage infrastructure using Terraform to enable automated and scalable provisioning of cloud resources.
  • Cloud and AWS Management: Architect, deploy, and manage AWS-based solutions, optimising performance, cost, and security.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Implement and enhance the CI/CD pipeline with CircleCI, ensuring smooth and reliable software delivery from development to production environments.
  • DDoS Prevention and Security: Develop and maintain strategies to protect our systems from DDoS attacks and ensure the overall security posture of our infrastructure.
  • Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to maintain high levels of availability and responsiveness..
  • Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices.


Requirements:


  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on managing and building AWS and cloud infrastructure.
  • Terraform: Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
  • CircleCI: Hands-on experience with CircleCI or similar CI/CD tools for building and deploying applications.
  • AWS and Cloud: In-depth knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
  • DDoS Prevention: Demonstrated experience in implementing DDoS prevention measures and security best practices.
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and system management.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment.
