About Portus Digital and Validhirst Group

The position, Customer Service and Account Support, is mainly within our Portus Digital team. This team operates through our Portus Digital Amazon Account, our website and our HDEWExtra Amazon account.


Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to; 


·      Leading on Amazon Account customer communication, returns and other associated tasks

·      Support the team director with product listings, stock checking, supplier feed updates and problem solving

·      Answering calls and emails from Portus Digital computer customers

·      Liaising with the technician to solve customer issues and book in returns and remote diagnostic sessions

·      Taking repair payments over the phone and processing invoices

·      Some purchasing may be required

·      Be available to help out our other teams in both sales and logistics where required


Location: The job location is SM6 7AH, Greater London, we'd ideally like the candidate to be local as we have had issues with past employees travelling in from further a field.


About the desired candidate:

You are very organised, meticulous, and happy following processes step by step to achieve the desired outcome. Following through on all communications from customers and solving problems quickly and efficiently is something you enjoy. You are happy to take on new challenges and tasks and apply your diligence to all new tasks. Previous customer service experience in some capacity would be helpful. An interest in online retail of consumer technology and computers is also useful. You can work both independently and as part of the wider team to help your managers achieve targets and organisational goals. You have a can-do attitude and enjoy solving problems. You are good with people and are comfortable in an organisation where change is frequent and ideas for improving service and efficiencies are welcome. You understand that from Day 1 you will likely begin taking responsibility for elements of the above and learning on the job. Within weeks you will be a key support in the on-going growth of the business.


Required Skills

Excellent Computer Literacy in all basic programs                         

Clear and grammatically correct English writing                                                               

Good telephone manner and clear speaking voice

Good basic arithmetic
