Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate looking for a role to showcase your abilities? If so, we are looking for a confident Maths Academic Mentor to join a successful, high-achieving secondary school as a Maths Academic Mentor in Barnet.

As a Maths Academic Mentor, you will be supporting gifted and struggling and GCSE and A-Level students with their learning; leading 1:1 and group sessions to improve academic achievement and confidence within your subject.

Maths Academic Mentor | About the role:

  • A Maths Academic Mentor has the opportunity to earn up to £550 per week
  • Teach GCSE and A-Level students – a Maths Academic Mentor should be competent in Maths
  • Secure a long-term work placement with teacher training as an option
  • Students have high ambitions and achieve fantastic results
  • Help students from disadvantaged backgrounds, and inspire all students to achieve the best grades.

Maths Academic Mentor | About you:

  • A Maths Academic Mentor should have a First-Class degree in Mathematics from a top-20 University
  • A Maths Academic Mentor should be passionate about helping students through mentoring and teaching.
  • If a Maths Academic Mentor has child-facing experience / experience with behaviour management, it would be advantageous
  • Can be a role model for students wanting to go to Oxbridge Universities and other top Universities
  • Has a good work ethic and subject knowledge
  • Can confidently assist with Maths and Further Maths up to A-Level.
