A high-performing Secondary School in Westminster are ready to interview a First Class Maths Graduate who can confidently support 11-16-year olds studying Maths as an Academic Mentor.

Maths Graduates with a 2:1 or higher degree from a Top 20 UK University are encouraged to apply.

This rewarding Academic Mentor role will see you help students build confidence within the subject area and culminate in you helping Year 11 students feel confident going into their GCSEs.

Maths Academic Mentor | Westminster
  • Successful, high achieving Secondary School
  • Supporting Years 7-11 within Maths lessons
  • Leading 1:1 tutoring sessions
  • Delivering small group intervention sessions
  • Helping students feel confident in their GCSE exams
  • Interviews taking place ASAP
 
We are looking for assured, ambitious and enthusiastic Graduates to work as an Academic Mentor within Maths. Students at this school are very well behaved and attentive in their studies, they have high expectations for themselves and are fully engaged with school life.

As the new Maths Academic Mentor ,  you will be given your own classroom to tutor small groups of students across Years 7-11. These intervention groups will be decided by the Head of Department for Maths and will consist of students who have been identified as needing additional support.

This Maths Academic Mentor role would perfectly suit a Graduate who is considering a career as a Maths Teacher but wants to gain a solid amount of school experience before applying for Initial Teacher Training.
