Test Analyst required to join a Tech for Good business based in Harrogate, paying up to £35000 + Benefits, with hybrid working (3 Days onsite)

**Please note that due to working with multiple departments, as well as the learning & support offered in role, we are looking for 3 days on site. We are therefore looking for someone located close to the Harrogate and Leeds area (Or perhaps moving to the area).
This is the first testing focused position within the business, joining an established software engineering team, and therefore ideal for someone to further develop their interest in testing, define the business' test plans and strategy, and continue to upskill your own skills with investment from the business.
This investment in you comes in both time within your role to expand on your skillset/tooling, as well as the time, knowledge and resources of the Head of Engineering, who will work closely and support you in the position.
We're hoping for someone who's looking to take more ownership within a testing team, however will always have the support of the Head of Engineering and their broad knowledge when required or for a 2nd option.
Due to working on web based software solutions, you will hopefully have some of the following experience, however due to level we are not expecting all of these and more listing all this to paint a picture of what you will get the opportunity to work with, learn and add to your skills:
Technology and Approaches include:
- Core foundations in Manual Testing and planning test strategy (With support)
- An interest in introducing Automation Testing; such as Selenium WebDriver (With support of the Head of Engineering)
- Experience in API driven software solutions, and working with tools such as Postman
- Experience of data driven software and database testing
- Scripting experience in Python, C# for Automation Frameworks would be nice to have (However can be learnt)
Other notes / areas they're looking to invest in:
- This is a Microsoft .Net Environment
- You'll be able to increase knowledge in Performance, Load and security testing
- Due to not having a dedicated Tester beforehand, you will be taking on a pretty "blank canvas" and able to share and input your own ideas and quality approaches.
