The role:

You will lead strategy and operations for our Social Media and Digital marketing team. This is a hands-on role too – with overall responsibility for service delivery, the right candidate won’t be afraid of getting involved in client pitches & strategy meetings, as well as helping the team to manage the day-to-day execution of all aspects of our digital marketing services including Social Media (paid & organic), SEO, email marketing and PPC. The right person will therefore have a strategic head along with a pragmatic “get things done” attitude to their role.

You will:

  • Develop, own and implement our Social Media and Performance Marketing strategy within Catch A Fire
  • Plan, recommend, prepare and oversee social media and performance marketing strategies for current and potential clients
  • Test & optimise campaigns efficiently to ensure the lowest CPL/CAC is met
  • Along with the Accounts / Project Teams, build solid Cost Estimates and work within the budgets set
  • Collaborate with the wider teams around campaigns and A/B tests, ensuring complete synergy between ongoing marketing activities
  • Ensure a high quality and consistent service delivery across the whole social media and performance marketing team, with a rigorous approach to managing work schedules, reporting and managing change
  • Ensure first class reporting on campaign performance across all our active services to our clients
  • Leverage customer insights to better segment, target and reach potential customers
  • Continuous improvement and development of our social media and performance marketing services
  • Act as our digital authority in consultancy work, participating regularly in client meetings and pitches
  • Share your experience and knowledge through coaching and developing your team
  • Liaise with clients throughout active campaigns
  • Know how to apply a multi-channel marketing mix when planning client campaigns
  • Understand & navigate the opportunities & challenges of driving B2B acquisition through paid search and paid campaigns, balancing customer funnel activity through paid media
  • Produce detailed forecasts, performance reports & presentations where necessary

What we’d need from you:

  • Solid senior agency experience within Social Media / Performance Marketing
  • Strong expertise in building a successful B2B paid marketing funnel
  • Broad digital expert with great leadership and relationship management skills
  • Confident and clear communicator, able to demonstrate experience of engaging in conversations and building relationships with clients at the highest level
  • Experience managing a team – ideally with a strong Social Paid focus
  • Knowledge of social tools including FB Business Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Ideally, you would also have experience in Google Ads, Search Ads 360, GDN, GA, GTM, Google Data Studio.
  • Extensive and up-to-date technical knowledge of the full range of digital marketing services, including SEO, content marketing, on and off page optimisation, link building, social media, email marketing, PPC, & conversion optimisation
  • Understanding of attribution models and data dashboards
  • The ability to blend these digital services to create the most effective digital strategy & campaign for each client
  • Confident and insightful content marketer who can use social media to engage and promote
  • Comfortable working on or with large client accounts and decision makers
  • A creative “marketing head” able to brainstorm and generate ideas for campaigns and pitches
  • A passion for Web technologies, the Internet and emerging technology trends
  • Excellent written skills (including faultless spelling and grammar)
  • Able to create engaging presentations and explain campaign results in a clear and concise way

  • Background/experience in working in the food & drinks sector, ideally with a passion for plant-based
