You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement. The company is well established, financial stable and have earned a reputation as an excellent employer.
The successful candidate will oversee the health, safety and environmental compliance on site, by providing leadership, guidance and support.
Responsibilities:

  • The HSE Manager will be responsible for safety and environmental control measures on site for all manufacturing, service and repair activities
  • Managing risk assessment and COSHH programmes
  • Providing safety and environmental guidance and support on a proactive basis as well as responding as required
  • Conducting HSE audits/inspections and tours
  • Overseeing incident investigations and conducting and leading major incident investigations
  • Chairing local safety committee
  • Assisting in any activity designed for the development and improvement of the company HSE system
  • Helping to set and achieve local HSE objectives and working towards achievement of corporate level objectives and targets
  • Maintain legislative compliance for the site

Experience Required:

  • An experienced HSE Manager - Ideally from a fast paced and pressurised manufacturing background
  • A strong communicator - capable at all levels
  • Assertive and capable of ensuring "buy-in" from staff
  • High level of awareness of all relevant legislation and requirements
