Science Teacher (Biology) Job | MPS / UPS | September 2024 | Full-time
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school around the Gatwick area. With students eager to be challenged, and superb resources in which to aid their learning, this school would welcome your application.

This is a full-time job starting in September 2024, paid to scale. Being a science teacher with an inclination towards Biology will be an advantage.

Based in Sussex for over 20 years, HAYS education offers high-quality supply teaching service, helping Schools with day-to-day cover as well as more long-term vacancies. We are dedicated in finding you teaching work to suit your needs and availability whether you are a science teacher wanting the flexibility of short-term work or the security of a long-term role.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, quizzes, and other assignments.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom discussions.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of science education.

Requirements:

-QTS / PGCE / NARIC
- Proven experience as a Science Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
