Utilize your in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and be a driver of innovation and solution delivery. Your expertise is applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances.Regulatory, Controls & Op Risk Technology (RCORT) designs and develops business products required to identify and manage JP Morgan’s regulatory obligations and associated firm policies, along with a control environment designed to manage compliance and operational risks across all Lines of Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions. Job responsibilitiesLeads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectivesIs accountable for decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and proceduresProvides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of businessCarries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operationsDelivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domainsActs as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, driving consensus across competing objectivesManages senior stakeholders, complex projects, and cross-product collaborationsInfluences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teamsChampions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and expert applied experience. In addition, advanced experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertiseDeep experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise and more broadly across the organizationExperience developing Java applications including hands on codingExperience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stabilityExperience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologistsDemonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scaleExperience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talentExperience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product ManagerPractical cloud native experienceExpertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldJ.P.
