BIRMINGHAM
This world leading bank with a personal finance section in the UK is hiring a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. This is a great opportunity to get some invaluable experience with a big player in this space. The successful candidate will be a self-starter being given great independence in their day-to-day duties working with credit risk strategies.
THE COMPANY
This is a world leading bank that operate in dozens of countries. This specific team is small; therefore they are looking for someone to take on responsibility and be comfortable having the autonomy to work independently and as part of a team.
THE ROLE
The role is a senior credit risk analyst position which will involve designing and delivering credit risk projects.
You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:
Design, implement and monitor credit risk strategies
Produce some MI
Monitor credit risk portfolio performance
Work closely with different teams in the business
Work on commercial strategies for the business to ensure profitability
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience using SQL or SAS
Experience working in credit risk
Experience working with credit risk strategies or models
Good communication skills
A strong university degree in a numerate discipline
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Up to £45,000 base salary
