Job Description

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Restructuring Lawyer to join their dynamic team in London. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer with 3-6 years of PQE to work on high-profile restructuring and insolvency matters and contribute to the firm's success in this specialised area.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including distressed asset acquisitions, debt restructuring, and corporate reorganisations.
  • Assist with the negotiation and drafting of restructuring agreements, including scheme of arrangement documents, creditors' agreements, and security documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on restructuring issues, keeping abreast of developments in insolvency law and regulations.
  • Represent clients in restructuring negotiations and proceedings, advocating their interests with professionalism and diligence.
  • Collaborate with other members of the restructuring team and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions to clients.



Qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer with 3-6 years of PQE in restructuring and insolvency law, gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Strong academic background in law, with a focus on restructuring and insolvency law or related field.
  • Knowledge of UK restructuring and insolvency laws and regulations, with an understanding of international insolvency principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions to restructuring issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
