Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Restructuring and Insolvency Associate to join our dynamic team in London. - Assist in advising clients on all aspects of financial restructuring and insolvency matters, including debt restructuring, distressed M&A, insolvency proceedings, and creditor negotiations.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare client memoranda and presentations under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to develop and implement innovative solutions to maximize stakeholder value.
- Assist in managing complex, high-value restructuring transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of legal developments, industry trends, and market dynamics affecting restructuring and insolvency matters, and provide proactive guidance to clients and colleagues.
- UK Qualified solicitor with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in restructuring and insolvency law, preferably gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong academic background with a focus on finance, restructuring, or insolvency law.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience working on national and cross-border restructuring transactions, with a solid understanding of relevant legal principles and industry practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
