IT Vendor Manager

Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm, in looking for an IT Vendor Manager to partner with them and their end client to help with a large-scale technical infrastructure work stream programme for an initial 6-month interim basis, specifically to support the write-up of RFPs and bids.

Contract Assignment Details:

• Hybrid working in Bedfordshire; approximately 3 days on site required.
• Up to £600 per day via umbrella.
• Initial 6 Months.

Protiviti is seeking to engage an individual with experience in writing RFP bids for third-party services.

Role Responsibilities: This role would entail crafting RFPs across the following suite of internal and third-party requirements:

• Writing RFP bids through a procurement lens.
• Managing multiple third-party vendors.
• Network Services
• Carved-out service desk management
• Internal operations
• Application support
• Break fixes
• EUC Towers
• Full lifecycle technology management
• Microsoft applications and support
• Kiosk suppliers and support
• Oracle data centres

The interim will report to the Group Head of Technology Operations at the end client, so experience working with senior stakeholders will be essential.

Given the size and complexity of the FTSE100 organisation in question, there are multiple third-parties involved. The successful candidate must be able to navigate and answer complex questions and possess strong communication skills.
