Are you a dynamic PR Agency professional looking to enjoy work again, to lead and inspire at an award-winning PR agency? Our client, a distinguished digital PR agency based in Oxford, offers a fantastic hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days working from anywhere. Join a vibrant team of 25 specialists in digital PR, content, social media, and influencer marketing, and manage a diverse portfolio of consumer clients and manage your own dedicated Team.

About the Role:

As an Account Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading 4-6 accounts, ensuring continuous achievement of KPIs and demonstrating impact to clients
  • Developing digital PR and social strategies to help clients meet their business goals, collaborating with Creative and Planning teams
  • Leading the quarterly Story-Planning process, crafting creative, insight-led ideas for brand awareness and search visibility
  • Designing and executing large-scale, KPI-busting campaigns from start to finish
  • Being part of a winning new business pitch team
  • Managing 2-3 direct reports, fostering their growth and contributions to the agency’s success

About You:

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has agency experience running major PR and social campaigns or digital PR campaigns (PR for SEO) – both is a plus
  • Is creative, intellectually curious, and passionate about brand communications in earned media
  • Is a critical thinker, capable of dissecting briefs, developing strategies, analysing results, and making optimization recommendations
  • Consistently drives strong results for clients and can adapt strategies as needed
  • Thrives in team leadership, knowing that great team results reflect well on them
  • Is trusted and well-liked by clients, providing well-considered counsel that builds confidence
  • Is commercially minded and able to grow accounts year over year
