This role can be based out of one of two offices, Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent along with hybrid working available.

Key Duties:

  • Under the supervision of the Estimating Manager, you will oversee the creation of detailed tenders, participate in meetings, and manage post-tender activities.
  • This role involves the daily management of the tender process to maintain standards and meet deadlines.
  • Reviewing and assessing tender documentation and requirements to produce successful tenders.
  • Identifying and reporting on risks, opportunities, and scope.
  • Obtaining and comparing competitive quotations on a like-for-like basis.
  • Collaborating as a key member of the bid team.
  • Producing accurate net estimates with comprehensive breakdowns for adjudication.
  • Seeking value engineering opportunities and advantages throughout the tender process.

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

  • Excellent understanding of mechanical services within the commercial build sector
  • Knowledge of Compressed Air, Hot and Cold Services, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Process Systems, Plant Utilities, Steam and Condensate and Cleanroom.
  • A wide network of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Commercially savvy individual to ensure tenders are financially sound yet competitive.
