Role Summary:

  • As in-house Commercial Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in underwriting specialist commercial combined and package policies through long established binders and facilities
  • You'll be tasked with the renewal of mid-market and corporate client accounts and be instrumental in maintaining the firm's leading position in the sector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and underwrite commercial combined and package policies
  • Collaborate with sales and broking colleagues to retain key clients
  • Ensure accurate and efficient policy documentation
  • Provide exceptional service to support the firm's esteemed client base
  • Contribute to the firm's strategic goals within the not-for-profit sector

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven commercial insurance underwriting experience - full product training is provided
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Adept in managing and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines

You'll receive full training on a set of niche insurance products to supplement your existing knowledge of commercial combined and/or package business.
