Location: Staffordshire (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract: Temporary (12 Months)
Working as the site sourcing specialist for this large international corporate, and focused on specific electronic and engineered category areas.
Responsible for:
- Category/product sourcing strategy - developing and implementing this strategy alongside group procurement objectives.
- Sourcing and negotiating terms against costing targets and building cost of Bill of Materials.
- Tracking and reporting on Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
- Being point of escalation for shortages and sourcing through alternative routes.
- End of product life/Last Time Buy activities.
- Working on New Product Introduction (NPI), Leading design change projects, and product transfer projects.
- Creating and analysing RFQs
Qualifications:
- Ideally MCIPS qualified, or Degree in Engineering
- Experience in technical sourcing and procurement
- Strong knowledge of engineered components or electronic components
