As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our technical team to assist with the company’s growing portfolio of clients within the UK and beyond.

Position Summary  

This position is a technical hands-on role supporting the company’s current customer/integrator base with design, deployment, configuration and in-life support of our solutions, configuring proof of concepts, and working with colleagues to solve complex deliverables. 

The Advancis solution can be adapted and configured to suit each client’s requirements; therefore, a part of the role will be working with new clients in a consultive role to understand the requirements before the install can commence. 

This role requires open communication and collaboration with other UK team members but will also necessitate the individual to have the ability to work independently. There will also be the opportunity to work with global team members on specific projects and to put forward future ideas for the product range.

It should be noted that some of this work may require travel to the customer site, a clean driving license would be beneficial.

Roles & Responsibilities 

You should possess strong problem-solving skills, an analytic mindset and excellent communication skills. This position requires a positive can-do attitude, an appetite for growth and a great work ethic.  Some roles, responsibilities and skills needed to be successful are as follows: 

•       Interface with clients, communicating technical details 

•       Provide technical support to customers/integration partners as required

•       Use company tools for the logging of support tickets and project management

•       Work alongside the engineering team to continuously improve software design and solutions, to fit customer requirements  

•       Install, deploy, test and upgrade Advancis applications  

•       Understand client-server component architecture, virtual environments, API’s, networking principles and database/data structures 

•       Communicate core system and third-party API and system capabilities to Advancis system partners and end users 

•       Attend meetings, presentations & demonstrations 

•       Provide technical assistance to Advancis team members for sales meetings, conferences, and exhibitions. 

•       Interact globally with co-workers, suppliers, and customers. 

•       Work under pressure, deadline driven environment, on multiple simultaneous projects. 

•       Excellent information gathering skills and interpreting client’s needs 

•       Flexibility in approach to developing solutions which will engage the customer and establish trust and respect

Key Qualifications and Experience Required:

Essential

-       Relevant qualifications in IT, Software, Engineering, Technical or similar discipline.

-       Any relevant software support, deployment or IT/security industry experience would be valuable

-       Hands-on technical approach

-       Strong problem-solving skills

-       Excellent communication (oral and written)

-       Good organisational skills with ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities.

-       Travel required, regional and occasional international (depending on business requirements)

-       UK citizen, resident, or valid work permit

-       Full UK driving license & access to your own vehicle

Desired

-       Application and software development skills or experience in .NET, C++, C#, or similar

-       Experience in a 2nd Line or 3rd Line support role

-       Knowledge of software tools and applications and scripting or coding

-       Experience with JavaScript, Python, HTML, or similar software apps and scripting.

-       Any other IT qualification such as Cisco, Microsoft, Project Management Tools etc
