Requirements for Graduate Electronics Engineer :

  • Top academics including a minimum of a 2.1 bachelor’s degree in a subject related to Electronic Engineering
  • AAB at A Level or equivalent UCAS points
  • Excellent understanding of electronic fundamentals
  • Knowledge of hardware designs
  • An innovative problem solver, with the ability to quickly pick up new technologies
  • Good communication skills – this role will involve speaking with customers
  • Any knowledge in the following would be beneficial: writing HDL code, using oscilloscopes, using logic analysers, or creating microcontroller firmware
  • You must be able to qualify for SC Clearance (this usually means you have been a UK resident for 5+ years, have a clean criminal record etc)

Responsibilities for Graduate Electronics Engineer :

On a daily basis, you will be involved in

  • Digital circuit design
  • Writing HDL code for FPGAs
  • Developing microcontroller firmware
  • Design verification and testing to component level
  • Problem-solving
  • Consulting with customers
