Job Title: Graduate Validation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Validation Engineer to join our Technology Platform Team in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test solutions, assessing the performance of our core devices, and collaborating with our Research and Development (R&D) team and Production team to uphold the high-quality standards of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the R&D team and production team to define precise validation objectives and criteria.
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of the master validation plans.
  • Design and implement automated coding to effectively handle extensive datasets for precise analysis of test results.
  • Review production test results to identify signs of measurement issues that may be impacting results.
  • Work to automatically detect and reduce the occurrence of measurement errors.
  • Collaborate with design, process engineers, and fellow test development engineers to devise new structures for monitoring the manufacturing process and enhance test solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM discipline such as Device Physics, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a similar technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Understanding of thin film electronics and its basic components.
  • Strong understanding of electronics and its core principles.
  • Demonstrable use of standard electronics equipment and semiconductor test equipment.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
