Fully Remote Senior Java Developer - World-Leading FinTech


I am currently working with a modern FinTech firm who own the most widely used technology globally for all real-time transactions, processing billions of events every second. They have just released an urgent hiring mandate for a Senior Java Developer to join their core team.


You will be responsible for building out their high performance, real-time data platform, offering you complex technical challenges around latency, distributed computing and stream processing, and will build entirely new features from scratch to ensure the scalability of their software.


The platform itself is cloud agnostic (AWS, GCP, and Azure), leverage the most modern advancements in AI and Machine Learning, and use open-source software for an unmatched performance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Java Engineer, with a strong understanding of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and multithreading.
  • Familiarity with in-memory data grids, databases, or caching solutions.
