Are you an experienced Software Team Lead with a background managing development teams? How about doing it whilst working on something that supports young people across the country?

We’re working with a leading SaaS specialising in supporting schools and young people across the country. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Development Team Lead to support the growth of one of the businesses engineering squads whose software is used by hundreds of thousands of students and staff across the UK.

As their Development Team Lead, you’ll be supporting and leading a team of up to 9 members across product, engineering and QA. You’ll have a strong understanding of agile principles and will be coaching the team and helping them to follow the Scrum process.

What they’re looking for in you as their Development Team Lead?

  • Proven background in leading software development teams and ensuring Agile/Scrum practice is followed.
  • Previous Scrum Master experience.
  • Strong people management experience, involved in 121’s, recruitment, training and mentoring.
  • Knowledge or background in software development (Their tech stack is ASP.NET, .NET Core, React, JavaScript, Azure, so any experience in these tools is highly beneficial)
