Are you a capable Marketing Manager looking for more autonomy and ability to make an impact in the Consumer marketplace? Our client, a privately-owned producer and distributor of leading retail brands, are looking for a Marketing professional to head up the Marketing function and work closely with the M.D. They offer a super hybrid working model with two days in the office and three days working from anywhere. About the Role:

As the Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Product Management: identifying products that will be successful and ensure take-up from retail clients.
  • Own national marketing campaign, manage new initiatives and manage marketing information systems
  • Set the Marketing Strategy across the marketing mix, including input into pricing strategies.
  • Promotional Campaigns: managing regular promotional campaigns for key products.
  • Commercial awareness: you will be encouraged to become involved in all aspects of the business, and a commercial understanding will aid this process.
  • Manage an out-sourced Marketing Team: you will be the stand-alone Marketing Manager and whilst you consider long-term resource needs, you will manage the freelance team that currently provides all marketing support.
  • Considers other revenue streams: our client’s end consumer website is largely untapped and there may well be other revenue streams you would like the business to consider.

About You:

Our client is looking for an individual who:

  • Has at least five to ten years marketing experience, mainly in the consumer or retail industries.
  • Has a broad Marketing skillset as our client’s business opportunities are enormous.
  • Is a critical thinker, capable of developing strategies, analysing results, and making optimization recommendations
  • Consistently drives strong results and can adapt strategies as needed
  • Thrives in a senior position, knowing that great team results reflect well on them
  • Will welcome the challenge of being empowered and enjoys autonomy.
