We are looking for a Commercial and General Property Solicitor with 1 to 4 years post-qualified experience to join our Salisbury based Team.

We are expert private client lawyers with a national reputation. Our client base comprises individuals, companies, schools, charities, landowners, farmers and estates and these clients are both local and national. We are client focused and work in collaboration with our clients.
Job Summary
To work closely with all members of the team and will tend to specialize in Commercial property (although there will also be some rural and estates property work) working predominantly for private clients.
The Team
The team comprises 5 partners and 12 other fee earners.
Key objectives and responsibilities
· provide assistance on large and often complex transactions dealing with the sale, purchase or letting of substantial properties and businesses. Transactions range from £500,000 - £50m and can include leases, assignments, surrenders, licences, options, promotion agreements, conditional contracts, joint ventures and similar structures;
· Begin to carry own caseload (with supervision which we anticipate will reduce as experience grows);

· meet billing and time recording targets;

· Demonstrate an ability to work on your own initiative (whilst accepting appropriate supervision);
· Attend legal and skills training programmes to continuously improve your skills and knowledge;
· Behave in a way the reflects the culture and values of the firm;
· Adhere to the firms risk management policies
· be commercially aware and demonstrate a commercial approach in the handling of client matters; and
· be willing to participate in the firm's business development activities.
