We are seeking a full-time Year 3 Teacher to join the dedicated team at a friendly, welcoming, primary school in the Wallasey area of the Wirral. The role is a 1 year contract starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will be an experienced year 3 teacher, but we will also welcome applications from ECTs with previous experience of teaching year 3 classes.The school is a vibrant and dynamic community that values and nurtures every child and celebrates their successes, achievements and talents. We are seeking an experienced Year 3 teacher to join a hard-working team as a full-time teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons for your Year 3 class. You will work in accordance with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, and science, as well as supporting the social and emotional development of the children in your care. You will also be responsible for assessing the pupils’ work and using the results to inform your planning. You will also be expected to play an active part in the wider life of the school.What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this exciting Year 3 Teacher role you will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain oneExperience working with Year 3 aged childrenExcellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, especially literacy, numeracy, and scienceA positive and enthusiastic attitudeA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhat you'll get in return
