Serving a diverse clientele, including midsized businesses, large corporations, and public-sector organizations, they offer a blend of direct IT product sales and extensive systems integration services. Their global reach is further extended through alliances with IT partners worldwide.

The Role

You will be hands-on with on-premises and cloud-based systems/services, utilizing your knowledge of security architecture, technologies, controls, processes, procedures, and governance. Your goal will be to continually improve customers' IT systems and overall approach to cybersecurity through assessments, collaboration with third-party suppliers/partners, customer consultations, and the deployment, operation, and maintenance of security systems/services.

  • Collaborate with the UK CISO to establish and maintain best practice security services and controls for customers.
  • Provide first response for cyber security incidents, including analysis, mitigation, remediation, and recovery from threats.
  • Consult with customers on security systems, services, controls, and industry best practices.
  • Undertake security-focused project work, including consulting, designing, and deploying customer security systems and services.
  • Manage and monitor security alerts and notifications triggered by customer security systems and services.
  • Run routine security reports to assess customers’ current security posture, take appropriate actions, and provide recommendations.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and related remediation work.
  • Ensure new Managed Service customers align with security best practices during the onboarding process.
  • Assist with responding to customer security-related questionnaires and tenders.
  • Help maintain internal security standards, including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials, CE, CE+, and CE Certification Body status.

  • Technical Skills: Experience securing a wide range of technologies, systems, services, and devices. Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft 365 is desirable.
  • Certifications: Security-related certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCSP, SSCP, CISA) are advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge: Broad understanding of technology solutions in corporate environments. Experience in a managed service environment is distinctly advantageous.

  • Perks such as incentives (holidays, vouchers, lunches, spot prizes).
  • Top-of-the-range technology for office and home working (laptops, screens, latest iPhone, etc.).
  • Subsidized healthcare/medical benefits.
