Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for all equipment-related issues.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage equipment commissioning processes.
- Develop and implement safety processes and controls to maintain a secure working environment.
- Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and meets safety standards.
- Lead preventative maintenance programs and address corrective actions for both equipment and software systems.
- Prepare business cases and plans for facility upgrades, including the development of new test capabilities and infrastructure improvements.
Manufacturing Engineering Responsibilities:
- Guide products from the prototype stage to full-scale production (NPI).
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, focusing on scale-up for production.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and certifications, with a preference for experience in the aerospace or automotive sectors.
- Maintain knowledge of quality management systems in battery manufacturing and aerospace industries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in process development, optimization, and scaling up manufacturing operations.
- Strong background in managing high-tech equipment installations and maintenance.
- Familiarity with industry standards and quality management systems, particularly in aerospace or automotive manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective business cases for facility improvements.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineering manager looking to lead a dynamic team, any prior experience in electric vehicles of batteries is very beneficial. You will be crucial in providing the support of continuous improvement of a cutting-edge facility.
