What you'll be doing:

  • Perform fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance on all E&I assets
  • Maximise plant availability and ensure efficient site operation
  • Report maintenance activities using the Computerised Maintenance Monitoring System (CMMS)
  • Supervise and direct contractors
  • Assist in plant shutdowns and outages
  • Receive and/or authorise a range of permits as required
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures

What we want from you:

  • NVQ Level 3 as a time-served apprentice in Electrical or Controls and Instrumentation Engineering
  • Further EC&I qualification, such as HNC, is highly desirable
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a heavy process environment (e.g., power station, chemical plant, paper mill, refinery, steelworks)
  • Ideally an IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification
