Our client, an independent pharmaceutical company based in Surrey, is experiencing rapid growth, and now is the time to bring their marketing internal.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the business in line with the pre-established Marketing Strategy.
  • Manage the appointed Marketing Agency and their tasks.
  • Manage the website, including its’ maintenance, continual design, and content generation/ development.
  • Work closely with the Technical Director to produce technical written content for all Editorial Marketing activities, such as sales tool creation, marketing materials or customer case studies.
  • Single marketing lead: you will be managing and have full responsibility for: Webinars, Exhibitions, Industry Presentations, Video’s, Literature, Slide kits, Promotional items and other MARCOM’s activities.
  • Plan, create and manage the social media of the business – across all platforms.
  • Plan and deliver annually the Global Events Program.
  • Work alongside the sales team/ commercial director to create effective mailing campaigns using Mail Chimp.
  • Manage all in-house MARCOM activities such as customer surveys, change controls, newsletters, seasonal items etc.

Skills and Comptencies:

  • Impeccable writing and editing skills are essential- must be native English speaker.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication.
  • Collaborative and demonstrate teamworking both internally and externally.
  • Self-starter and be able to work independently.
  • Proven planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills.

Essential Experience to be considered for Marketing Communications Manager:

  • Between 3- and 5-years’ experience in Marketing Communications, in a B2B focused technical environment. Proven work experience.
  • Communications experience within a Life Sciences/Medical Industry environment would be highly desirable.
  • Experience can be In-house or Agency. Literacy or Scientific degree / higher education.
  • Excellent written and spoken English- Must be native English speaker.

This is a permanent position. Hybrid working, minimum 2 days a week in the office. Salary DoE.
