Coren is a top agri-food company, it is a cooperative founded in 1959 in Galicia, NW Spain. Breed, quarter and transform meat products (poultry, pork and beef) represent our main activities. Our products are sent to supermarkets, wholesale suppliers and distributors and we export to more than 60 countries. At present, our turnover is €1,000M+.

In Coren there are six Feed Plants, a Pork Processing Center which owns a Tinned Food Industry (where we prepare more than 50 different format products, convenience food and cold meats), a Beef Processing Centre (where we also prepare cold and cooked meats and where we have a special drying place for hams), a Poultry Processing Centre (which is the most advanced in leading technology in the European Union), and an Egg Plant Classification. Coren has a Technology Incubation Centre, a Meat Technology Centre and an Environmental Technology Centre for the treatment of livestock waste.



ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated, positive, enthusiastic, and solutions-driven sales professional to help us drive the sales of our unique charcuterie deli products.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing and managing business in London.

The job involves developing Sales through all its Cycle: identifying and visiting potential leads and transform them in trusted clients.


Key Outcomes:

- In close collaboration with the commercial team leadership, design and deliver a robust sales process from initial contact through to after-sales support.

- Act as a brand ambassador for Coren in the UK.


Responsibilities:

- Deep comprehension of target markets and segments, the main focus will be DISTRIBUTORS and also HORECA (hotels, restaurants and catering)

- Disciplined approach to tracking and documentation of sales, customers, and sales processes.

- Build personal rapport with key sales contacts, engaging with customers on the journey from initial contacts through repeat purchases.


Experience:

- Strong track record in sales or products/services.

- Experience in field sales (the main task will be to visit customers in person)

- Good attention to detail and the tenacity to get things done right first time

- Experience in negotiations and deal closing.

- Tech savvy and MS Office confident.

- Native or advanced level of English language.

- Clean drivers licence (ideal but not compulsory).


Personal characteristics:

- Results-oriented and proactive attitude.

- Previous experience in sales.

- Very strong verbal communication skills.

- Energetic with a hunger to succeed, increase and grow your sales, be consumer obsessed.

- Self-starter, dogged and flexible approach to work.

- Team player and active listener who enjoys collaboration.

- Sociable, outgoing, and skilled in building and maintaining good relationships with a wide range of personality types.
