About the Role:

As a Production Capacity Planner, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the production schedule. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding machine capabilities, setting production plans to maximise efficiency, sequencing work to optimise performance, and ensuring all deadlines are met. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to adapt plans as needed and resolve any scheduling conflicts promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage production plans to optimise machine performance and efficiency.

- Sequence tasks to maximise batching and overall productivity.

- Ensure all production deadlines are met and adjust plans to address any changes.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve scheduling conflicts and maintain seamless operations.

- Provide shift plans and adjust schedules to minimise costs while meeting customer agreements.

What We're Looking For:

- Prior experience in production planning or capacity planning, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.

- Proactive attitude with resilience and adaptability.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing plans and requirements.
