Role Overview:

The chosen candidate will be instrumental in enhancing procurement processes, ensuring compliance, and leading a dynamic team towards achieving strategic procurement goals. This role includes a blend of strategic oversight and operational management, with a focus on high-level performance and innovation in procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine a long-term procurement strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Oversee all procurement activities ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders to optimise procurement processes.
  • Spearhead the management of procurement systems and supplier relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and build capabilities within the procurement team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A seasoned Procurement Professional with a strong public sector construction and maintenance background.
  • An exceptional leader with proven experience successfully managing teams.
  • Robust experience in regulatory compliance, managing complex projects, and enhancing multi-user frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of driving team success in procurement operations.
  • MCIPS or FCIPS qualification, with a degree-level education preferred.
