Financial Modeller

Our client, a UK based Bank, is seeking to appoint a financial modeller to develop the financial model / forecast for the bank.
Reporting to the Head of Balance Sheet Management and working closely with the Finance Director, the role will be responsible for developing the Bank’s business plan and forward looking financial forecast. This will include developing the revenue forecasting model whilst incorporating the interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB). You will work with key stakeholders to verify inputs and present findings to the Board.
The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience developing a financial forecast model for a bank. You will have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with extensive knowledge in operating excel-based forecasting models, interest rate risk in the banking book, outputs, identifying trends and presenting necessary information to the Board. You must have an eye for detail, strong analytical skills as well as a flexible, positive and collaborative attitude.
