Our client is a fast growing consultancy in the financial services industry.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain complex financial models
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Work closely with the to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather data for model inputs.
- Continually review and optimise financial models for efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases for property investments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property finance market trends and regulations.
Requirements:
1. Able to create a project finance model.
a. Model organisational structure:
b. Comfortable with modelling new financing options via debt and equity.
2. Experience in mining and project finance leverage a definite plus.
3. Deliverables:
a. Evaluate current corporate financial model, on a non-audit basis.
b. Scope the requirements for a new corporate financial model in Excel.
c. Build an Excel financial model to scope, with the purpose of the model of:
i. To evaluate a development project in terms of benefit to shareholder on a per share basis.
ii. Rebuild the current corporate financial model (including bringing in Actuals)
d. Run operational and funding scenarios, as required to size / sculpt debt and equity injections;
e. Support with the handover of the financial model, along with supporting user guide and documentation to the end-customer.
