Job Description

Job Title: Junior Production Coordinator (RTW & Accessories)

Reporting To: Production Manager

Location: Hammersmith, London

Contract: 6 months (fixed-term contract)


Role Overview:

Assisting in all duties required to support the Production Team, becoming a key contact with our manufacturers and suppliers.


Responsibilities


Production

  • Daily follow-up on all production queries from factories.
  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with factories in the UK and Europe.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager on setting up trackers at the start of the season.
  • Accurately update and maintain production trackers during the full life cycle of the product. Chasing in dates and ensuring the trackers are correct prior to weekly team meetings.
  • Proactively help to follow up gold seals weekly with factories and chase shipment samples, QC reports and any documents for approval prior to shipment.
  • Ensuring the QC calendar is regularly updated, guaranteeing timely approvals within the time frame needed for bulk to ship. Liaise with QC team accordingly to organise final inspections.
  • Follow up with factories on any bulk shipment discrepancies, liaising with logistics.
  • Responsible for booking couriers to and from factories and warehouse when required.
  • Supporting the production coordinators with the admin processes behind weekly bulk shipments.
  • General admin support.


Raw Materials

  • Work closely with Production Coordinator/Production Manager to ensure raw materials and trims are delivered in line with production launch and Critical path.
  • Follow up with mills and suppliers for order confirmations and any paperwork required. Updating the trackers accordingly.
  • Assist with the movement of fabric stocks and seasonal stock takes, updating the fabric archives and tracker.
  • Support the production coordinator with the ordering of care labels.
  • Help with printing swing tag and barcode stickers for all factories per season.


Technical

  • Assist tech team during busy periods with QC of bulk.
  • Help with sample send outs and unpacking.


Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Highly organised with an ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Experienced in working with Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills / team player
  • Proactive and problem solving.
