Mando Solutions are looking to recruit an experienced data administrator to work within our maintenance department at its head offices in Caldicot. The position will report directly into our Fleet Optimisation Manager and will engage in all administrative aspects of the departments repair, servicing and breakdown process, whilst liaising with both the team at Head Office and engineers nationwide. For candidates without knowledge or experience of the quarry & mining sector or mobile plant, youll have learning support and time to develop your understanding in your new role as our new Maintenance Administrator.

Job Skills
  • Experience within a data entry/processing administrative role required.
  • IT proficient minimum of competent skill level needed in Excel.
  • Experience of working on asset database systems is preferred, Syrinx ideally, but not essential.
  • Good communication skills will need to liaise with suppliers, fitters, site personnel and office personnel.
  • Job will be within a team but must be able to work independently.
  • Able to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.
Job Roles / Duties
  • Repair Jobs
  • Opening repair, breakdown and service jobs on the system
  • Giving job information out to field service personnel
  • Updating job information and notes as and when jobs progress
  • Updating jobs with labour details
  • Process and close jobs when complete.
Purchasing
  • Obtaining parts quotes, chasing order status/missing parts
  • Raising and receipting purchase orders, where necessary
  • Organise and maintain call outs from external parties.
Maintenance Support
  • File and maintain service reports, regulatory checks and other asset documents.
  • Input inspection report information onto the system and update defect logs
