On the back of multiple successes within our growing Major Projects division, we currently have an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer, to join us in the Renfrew/Teesside area to coordinate the integration of mechanical designs with engineering disciplines and manages vendor to achieve project deliverables within budget and on schedule.

Our new Mechanical Engineer will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to build effective relationships. You will be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and encourage feedback from others, to allow you to undertake checking, peer reviews & incorporation of comments.

Backed by a Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in similar industries, our ideal candidate will have the ability to support the standardisation of equipment specifications, drawings & document templates. As well as assisting in continuous improvement of engineering standards and practices within the organisation. In addition, we are looking for someone who has obtained or working towards Chartered accreditation with the IMechE.

You will have the ability to work independently, using engineering principles and practices to complete varying assignments, and have substantial knowledge of regulations, codes and industry standards, to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.

As our new Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering projects and a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry-standard practices.
