As a Deputy Outpatients Manager at our Brentwood Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. With excellent leadership skills, you hold post-registration experience in care of patients, pre and post operatively, in everything from Cardiac to Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynae and Urology.

As a Deputy Outpatients Manager, you will:

  • Delivering key quality performance and financial plans & service enhancements.
  • Assist in the operational delivery of outpatient services ensuring the efficient running of the department, this will include clinical work in the department.
  • Seek and employ innovative methods of improving service delivery in line with the 5 CQC Key lines of Enquiry, always aiming to achieve Good and Outstanding.
  • To ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice.
  • Carry out both clinical & managerial duties and audits.
  • Lead by example in providing excellent patent care.
  • Training and develop more junior team members.
