This role would suit a bright and motivated individual that has had previous experience within a Product Management role, has strong attention to detail, and is used to working in a busy environment.


The Product Manager is responsible for product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle.

They will develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight.

They will work closely with Engineering and other teams to deliver products that align with this vision, meet market needs and are delivered to a consistently high-quality standard.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Own the product roadmap for their portfolio.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to the business.
  • Identify market trends and requirements and possible product solutions.
  • Manage and control the relationship of those suppliers where Airflow purchase finished items, including price, branding, packaging etc.
  • Accurately and precisely understand and illustrate market problems and desired solutions in the context of the markets we operate in.
  • Translate high-level market requirements into detailed functional requirements.
  • Creates and maintain a competitive matrix that reflects the most current state of the competitive landscape.
  • Support value improvement activities with supply base and Procurement team.
  • Foster close working relationships between the Product Management Team and Engineering, Procurement, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service departments.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure that NPI are positioned and communicated to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  • Deliver product training and demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to requests for ad hoc reports in a timely manner, setting proper expectations for data quality, meaning, and time of delivery.
  • Create and regularly update dashboards to provide Product Team with clear, concise, insights based on key performance indicators, on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Update product documentation, user help systems, market advisories, and presentations as needed to inform stakeholders of changes made to a product.
  • Understanding product compliance for existing and new regulations both UK and European.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and reporting/reviewing new product launches.
  • Attending trade association meetings representing the best interests of Airflow and understanding issues affecting the business.
  • Adherence to the Airflow Brand Guidance document.
  • Maintaining product descriptions, pricing, technical documents and other content on airflow.com

  • Understand customers and market problems.
  • Drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of market-facing communication.
  • Accurately report results vs. KPIs.
  • Manages projects within budgets, schedules and corporate requirements.
  • Ensures that all activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements


Key Competencies

  • 2+ years’ experience within a Product Management team, ideally with a technology or engineering company
  • College degree, preferably in a business or technical subject area
  • Proven strong analytic, logic, and quantitative skills
  • English: fluent, spoken and written (essential)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willing and able to develop a deep understanding of the ventilation market, customers, vendors, service providers, users, products, and technology
  • Passionate about delivering compelling product to customers
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural, cross functional, matrix organization
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines on a tight schedule

  • IOT product experience an advantage
  • SAP & CRM experience an advantage
