We are currently working with a very successful housebuilder operating in Kent who are looking for a Land Manager to lead help drive their expansion, focusing on the identification, negotiation and acquisition of new sites across Kent and surrounding counties.
If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.
Our client is a very profitable business who have built up an enviable reputation for delivering high quality, design led housing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, negotiate and managing the acquisition of new sites.
- Liaise with Land Agents, Landowners and Housing Associations to ensure you are aware of upcoming opportunities.
- Manage the feasibility process to understand the potential of new sites and maximise potential returns.
- Help to manage purchased sites through the development process, through to the point that it can be passed to the technical team for detailed design.
- Act as a bridge between the Land and other internal departments to ensure effective working relationships are in place and the acquisition process is as smooth as possible.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of legal issues relating to contracts, joint ventures and partnerships, managing sites through the legal process, (with support).
Our client is expanding rapidly which will lead to opportunities at Senior Land Manager level and beyond.
This is an outstanding opening and would suit a Land Manager who is looking to work for a quality developer who has committed funds or a Land Buyer who is looking to progress their career to the next level.
