Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with relevant IT standards, laws, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks to ensure a robust security framework.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain IT compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with both internal and external requirements.
- Auditing & Monitoring: Lead IT audits and compliance checks, ensuring any findings are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, and management to implement and monitor compliance solutions.
- Training & Awareness: Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of IT compliance issues and promote best practices across the organization.
- Incident Response: Act as a key player in responding to IT compliance and security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions are taken.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT compliance, IT audit, or cybersecurity roles.
- Strong knowledge of relevant IT compliance standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and IT security principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with IT audit processes and working with regulatory bodies is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
